Jacob Blake: Mayor says ‘violence in the community is not acceptable’ – BBC News

Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian condemned the violence that was sparked by the shooting of Jacob Blake by police on Sunday.

Mr Blake, 29, was shot and injured as he leaned into his car, as his children watched.

Since then, the protests have turned more violent, with two people killed and one wounded on Tuesday night. A 17-year-old has been arrested.

The mayor thanked Mr Blake’s mother for speaking out about the violence, saying it wasn’t what he would have wanted.

  1. A knife wielding sexual abuser gets shot and the BBC say “man trying to enter his car with children present.” Never let the truth get in the way 👍

  2. why did The BBC cut the original video so much the guy shotting was being attacked the whole time and was defending himself. The people protesting shouldn’t have been rioting. Whatever happens to peaceful protesting.

  3. I wish everyone a happy life and that their dreams and hope will come true. This will be a beautiful year for all. I hope this will be a year full of love, mercy and optimism.💕🌸🙌🏻❤️
