University leaders insist that campuses will be Covid safe, and that they’re ready to welcome students back. It comes after a warning from lecturers that restarting face to face teaching would be a disaster. The University and College Union have expressed fears that the new term could turn campuses into the the ‘care homes’ of a second wave. Our Education Editor, Branwen Jeffreys, has the story.

  1. Why are young students comparable too care homes ? Can someone tell me ? Elderly ,weak , poorly , compared too young people ,this is scaremongering again.please people wake up
