The Manchester United Captain Harry Maguire has been dropped from the England squad to face Iceland and Denmark next month, after being found guilty of all charges following a brawl on the Greek island of Mykonos. The England manager, Gareth Southgate, said it was “in the best interests of all parties”. Maguire was given a suspended 21 month prison sentence, after being accused of assaulting a police officer and attempted bribery, along with his brother and a friend. He says he’ll appeal.
