The Russian opposition leader and one of President Putin’s fiercest critics, Alexei Navalny is being treated at a hospital in Germany after a suspected poisoning.

Mr Navalny fell into a coma after drinking a cup of tea at an airport cafe which his supporters believe was laced with poison. Russian doctors initally said there were no traces of poison in his body.

  1. I think British news has become little more than a propaganda mouthpiece for the USA. and it doesn’t care how it puts us in danger to achieve that goal.
While our news talks about Russian involvement in British politics news, why doesn’t our news bother to report that most of what Boris Johnson says is nonsense? That might have helped with Britain staying in the EU. When Boris was on a TV show, the news cared more about making a massive fuss because of a dumb unimportant comment he made, than how he said on the same show that there wasn’t a vote on the 2nd war against Iraq. Yet more Tories had campaigned for and voted yes to the 2nd war than MPs from other parties. That means either Boris Johnson puts on a clown act to get away with telling lies and the media is in with him. Maybe the dumb comment was a planned way to get people to also listen to his lies, or Boris Johnson had the job of foreign secretary without knowing basic foreign policy, and the media is just as stupid to not point that out. Maybe the only point in the media is to dumb down society, by constantly forcing skanky talentless celebs in our faces?
There’s talk that Russia was involved in the Brexit news. When you think how involved we are in spreading propaganda against Russia to please the USA, I don’t blame Russia for retaliating.
Whenever there’s a terrorist attack, when was the last time our media reminded people of how Islamic extremism hardly existed before the USA were arming and training extremists in Afghanistan against Russia in the 80s, and then the USA didn’t care what was going on there after, such as females banned from education?
When was the last time our media reminded people of when secret service whistleblower David Shayler told of how Thatcher was using British money to go along with the USA funding Al Qaeda in Libya against Gaddafi? A country people didn’t pay household bills, while more old British people were dying of the cold than before Tories stole and sold off public owned energy.
Then Russia Today news is classed as propaganda by our media, when they point out our hypocrisy by going along with the USA funding extremists in Syria against Assad. A country run by a NHS eye doctor and his modern British born wife. Syria is one of few middle east nations with many religions that live together in peace, with ancient Christian groups who still speak Aramaic.
While we go along with the USA supporting Saudi Arabia, where you’re arrested for being atheist and women don’t have full human rights.
