Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced masks will soon be compulsory for people in Melbourne in Victoria’s latest bid to quash a spike in COVID-19 infections.
In today’s press conference update on the daily case numbers, Mr Andrews announced the state had recorded 363 new infections, up from 217 the day before.
